Today is my daughter Xuan Chau's 17th birthday, and I have picked a few of her past winning piano pieces to share with everyone to celebrate her 17th birthday.

Schumann Abegg Variations (Age 12) - 这首曲目女儿获得2011年麻州Bay State Contest年龄组第一名 (With this piece, she won the 1st place in 2011 Bay State Contest in her age group, and Honorable Mention in 2011 FGCU Steinway Piano Competition)

Debussy's 1st Arabesque (Age 9)。这首曲目赢得了Bay State Contest 年龄组荣誉奖，因为结尾处女儿突然不知如何往下弹，停了20秒的样子，不然应该有机会达到第一名（She won Honorable Mention with this piece in the Bay State Contest, due to a long pause caused by memory slip, otherwise she would very likely win the first place）. She interpreted this piece much better than all the kids versions I came across back then - Unfortunately the piano was very much out of tune （钢琴音非常不准，太久没有调了）
