In Love with Ice Skating

I have fallen in love with ice these days, today I got my first adult skating badge. Along with singing, it fulfills my life and makes me feel life is just wonderful!

I will get on ice twice a week for a while during general skating before taking class again. If it feels right, I may go for ice dancing in the future. I hope one day I would have a chance to perform dancing with other adult skaters.

I want to be able to fly, fly freely, that is my ultimate dream, on ice!

Sounds like you must be a good skater. Thank you for all the kind suggestions, I've learned enough how to protect myself. I had zero direct or related experiences before. Singing on ice while skating sounds like an interesting idea, I'll keep that in mind :)

Really? Skating is a touch job with a controlled balance on ice. As for the figure skating it is even more touch in my opinion, after combining with skating skills, dancing skills, and following the music rise and down. Good luck for your new hobby.

How many years of skating experience did you have during your childhood, up to the college? and then how many more years did you spend on skating on your college life?

Here is a layman's kind suggestion, on ice, always bend your body, thus, when fall down, it is naturally in the forward direction, and you can use your hands unconsciously to protect you. Otherwise, if the whole body too straight standing on ice, it potentially falls down backward, under such circumstance, your hands cannot help you, and you need very careful to protect your head.

In some days, you may sing on ice while skating. That is the dream coming true.
