Discovery Flight - My First Flight Lesson

人生短暂。有好多的事情想要学想要做，可总因现实生活诸多的繁琐和无奈而无法去实现。现在觉得，不管是什么事情，只要是自己想做，有能力去做的，就应该放开了去做。想要学的东西，不一定要学到精通。浅尝辄止品味体验一下也不失为一种乐趣。就如Steve Jobs临终所言，人的一生只要有够用的财富，就该去追求其它与财富无关的，应该是更重要的东西，也许是感情，也许是艺术，也许只是一个儿时的梦想。
我的梦想很多。虽然大部分的梦想更像是做梦，但我还是愿意尽力去尝试。最近想到了开飞机，正好有朋友也很响应，附近就有很好的学校（Executive Flyers Aviation, located at Hanscom Field, Bedford, MA）。刚好这个black Friday是个大好无风的晴天，就选择了今天。因为更喜欢安静和独处，所以我从来都不在这一天购物，开一次飞机倒是很让人兴奋的主意。
一直过了九年多才做好的视频。起飞前要进行各种检查项目。没想到检查油需要那么仔细。两边的机翼下还有机身下面都要在不同部位采集一点，然后看颜色。如果有虫子，脏东西，气泡，或者颜色不对，都不行。这个信息忘记放入视频，单独说明一下

It was a crisp cold day, we had to stay outside for extended time, that is the only drawback. But I had a lot of fun for the one hour lesson. We are already looking forward to the next lesson, taking it just for fun occasionally. Hopefully next time we will catch the beautiful sunset.

Thanks for the comment. I never expected such overwhelming reactions from people, I thought I just did something unique yet ordinary that everyone can do.
Guess you are right, mostly we say a lot with no action. I am happy I did take action, and am proud of myself.
It is also a blessing having a friend share common interest who wanted to come with me to make it happen. Many times we need a little push from outside, don't we?
Next time should be in summer, since I was told you can fly with windows open in hot weather. Catching the sunset is another thing that I would love to experience.
Hope we can dance on ice together some day. I really want to sharpen my skating skills.

If you want to do something make the time and make it happen. So many people have said "I would love to learn how to fly" and never get off the ground, but; you are actually doing it. Good for you.
Hope your spirits will fly higher than your plane.
